Fellowship Bible Institute
The Fellowship Bible Institute (FBI) is the initial offering for potential students of Amherst Theological Seminary. All students are required to complete the FBI, unless granted permission otherwise. Petition to bypass the FBI must be made in writing. The decision to remove or require the FBI requirement is final. Typically, one must have earned a Bachelor's Degree or above in a recognized Biblical course of study to remove the requirement to take the FBI.

The FBI is a comprehensive, thorough, and rigorous set of introductory courses that ensures the student has a quality grasp of fundamental and basic Christian inquiry and practice. Upon successful completion of the sequence, the student is awarded an Certificate of Completion. The student may then progress to the Bachelors level.

FBI-1 CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALS
THE FOLLOWING TEXT IS REQUIRED FOR FBI-1, FBI-2, & FBI-3.
The Thomas book consists of 50 very short chapters (2-3 pages) that are quick, easy reads.
The student will work thru the Thomas book over the duration of all 3 FBI courses.
