Praying God’s word is a very powerful practice. Praying scripture is a way of returning God’s Word to Him. In addition, when you pray scripture, you are certainly praying His purpose, plan and will. We’ll discuss more about the how you can personalize scripture to yourself in a few pages. Check out these scriptures about the power of God’s word.
“[God’s] word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” (Isa 55:1)
“For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Heb 4:12)
